A perfect solution for hard to match wedding colors...

Wenda and her finance are having a July wedding, and have chosen silver and orange as their wedding colors...to say the least there are limited invitations in this color combination. In cases such as this we suggest using a neutral/simple invitation in white or ecru and play off the colors in font selection or ribbon, but Wenda really wanted a pocket fold.

Luckily, our new album called Paper Duvet, gave her the opportunity to mix and match pieces to create a unique look...they offer the largest selection of paper choices out of all the companies I carry! (Not all options available online) The picture to the right shows the style of the invitation, but her colors are a silver pocket fold & orange paper.

Another Black and White Theme

The black and white theme is in this season! Corey choose this invitation for her upcoming August wedding in Salem, Virginia. Her reception will be held in the Wortman Ballroom at Roanoke College, my alma mater!

Even if you do not live in New Jersey, Chicklet Invites can help you get the perfect invitation for your wedding! Simply browse our online catalogs. Several of our companies are available to order through the websites, so that is an option...but for more personalized service or more options feel free to contact me to place order directly. By not using a website you have more choices for customization...more font combos, layout, motifs, ribbon...

A Black and White Wedding...

Many brides love the classic look of a black and white wedding. It is stylish and sleek, making it a wonderful theme to work with. Donna, who will be married in October, found many options in just one of our albums that played off the black and white theme, but this was her favorite!

For Invitations Erin picked a more traditional and elegant invitation that set the stage for a formal and elegant fall wedding.

Erin will be celebrating in October 2009 at The Reception Center at PNC Bank Arts.

Amy Loved This Invitation! BUT, it did not really match the tone or formality of her upcoming wedding. So....she used the RSVP card to create Save The Date Cards that were fun, different and actually more affordable then traditional save the dates!

The colors and leaves set the stage for a fabulous fall wedding! Have fun with your save the dates!

Phew, I'm a little behind in my blogging....

Wedding season is right around the corner, and that means it's time to order those invitations! I've really noticed a transition this year...the past few years invitations have been bright colored, bells and whistles, and pockets! This year, maybe with everything going on in the economy, brides seem to want to take it simple, keep it traditional and classic and have thus, picked out some of these beautiful invitations.

To the left is a gorgeous invitation picked out by Jessica for her black tie wedding at the Palace at Somerset Park in July. This elegant invitations will definitely set the perfect tone to her truly memorable wedding.

Aloha Wedding Day!

The subtle hibiscus flowers is the perfect accent on these summer wedding invitations! The texture of the paper & the flowers pull in the season of the wedding and create anticipation for what is to come. Erin & Dan will be celebrating their wedding in June.

Don't forget to Save The Date!

Don't forget to let your guests know that you've set a date! Lori had a couple requests when it came to her save the dates, especially the fact that she wanted to tie in her color scheme to her invitations. She picked the above invitation because she liked the look of the circled date, and because this save the date was available in a blue color scheme, which matched her colors!

It's never too early to send out save-the-dates! As soon as you have a date set it's ok to go ahead and send them! Generally this happens at 6mo-8mos out.
