Announcing the sweetest baby girl!

I was extremely excited by my college roommate's bundle of joy, Riley! The new mom obviously turned to me to pick out some adorable announcements to show off the new baby! I love the polka dots!

A Simply Elegant Invitation

Yesterday I met with a extremely nice couple who are planning an elegant wedding at The Grain House in Basking Ridge for November! They picked a simple and elegant invitation that truly complemented the tone and style of their wedding.

Ayesha & Asher's Wedding

Saturday, June 29, 2008

Curt and I did photography for my friend Ayesha's wedding at the Rosoii Indian Restaurant in Monmouth Junction, NJ. It was a really unique experience and Curt and I enjoyed doing photography for this wedding as it was an awesome chance to experience a new culture. It was an Indian-Muslim wedding, so it was unlike any other wedding we have done photography for.
I'm limited in the pictures I can share out of respect for their culture, but all I can say is the bride looked beautiful & the all the colors of the woman's clothing just made a beautiful backdrop.

The picture above is the bride getting ready and the jewelry just kept being put on. The Henna on her hands and feet was so gorgrous, it must have taken hours to do!

Maine 2008

Curt and I joined his entire family in Maine for the week where we enjoyed playing with our camera! We got some fabulous pictures & it was a great way to practice to get up back in photographing shape for the wedding we had the following weekend. We stayed a nice resort on Rangeley Lake where we enjoyed boating, s'more making, fishing, biking, hiking, and of course shopping at all the adorable boutique shops on Main Street.

Our first order at our new location!

I'm excited that invitations at the new store are ready to go! Although we do not have regular hours set yet I am ready to take appointments! Mainly we aren't open fulltime yet because we have no one to work the store in the afternoons & on the weekends, so if you know anyone interested please have them give me a ring!

But, I did have a walk in the other day who wanted to check out the store! She was excited since she used to work in this store years ago when it was the Millstone Workshop and she just couldn't wait to see what we had done with the place! When she got in there and realized we did invitations she was even more thrilled since she needed invitations for her daughter's upcoming bridal shower. Since her daughter is getting married on the beach we found an adorable beach themed invitation for the shower!

New Website

When I got home from work today there was an e-mail from my sister-in-law that she updated her website (www.entertainme-de.com) and for me to check it out. Visiting her remodeled site inspired me to get back to my webpage and spice it up a bit...I don't think the fonts on the old site ever worked.....so I finally got my butt in gear and redid the site....Now it is 1 Am and I must get myself to bed because I am going to be EXHAUSTED tomorrow!

Anywhoooo enjoy the new site! I know I am!
